Raveena Tandon is one of the most loved stars in Bollywood. As many are aware, Raveena Tandon was only twenty one years old when she adopted two girls, and her eldest daughter was already eleven years old. Both her adopted daughters, Pooja and Chhaya, have kids of their own now. In a recent interview, Raveena shared how it feels about being called a 'grandmother' at the age of 46. She also revealed the bond she shares with her eldest daughter.
Talking to MissMalini, Raveena said, "Technically, the minute that word comes, people think you're 70-80 years old. When I had taken in my girls I was 21, and my eldest was 11. We actually just have an 11-year grab between us. She's had her baby, so she's more like a friend, but technically, I am a mom-like figure to her in her life. That's what equates to being a grandmom, so that's how it is." Earlier, Raveena Tandon had said that adopting Pooja and Chhaya in 1995 was the best decision of her life.
"Back then people were apprehensive on my decision and said no one would want to marry someone with this baggage. But as they say, what is destined to be, it will happen. I couldn't have been more blessed," she told Pinkvilla. Raveena often shares her family moments on Instagram.
The Shool actress is married to film distributor Anil Thadani, with whom she has two children - daughter Rasha and son Ranbirvardhan. On the other hand, Chhaya is an air hostess and Pooja is an event manager. On the work front, the actress will be seen in KGF: Chapter 2 co-starring Yash and Sanjay Dutt.
